Voluum Alternatives for Affiliate Media Buyers
A dated, source-linked shortlist for buyers leaving Voluum: match the reason you want to move to the right option, price the whole funnel, and keep old click IDs working.
The right Voluum alternative depends on the job Voluum is not doing for you. If page hosting and editing is the gap, evaluate Tracked or Binom. If ad-platform feedback and spend sync matter most, evaluate RedTrack or ClickFlare. If you want to own the server, evaluate Binom self-hosted or Keitaro. If the entry price is the issue, BeMob and ClickFlare publish lower starting plans, but read the domain and event terms first.
This is a Tracked-authored shortlist, and Tracked is one of the options. We read first-party pricing and documentation pages on October 22, 2026, and reviewed current Tracked source code. We opened no competitor accounts and measured nothing. The order is not a ranking.
For a two-product decision, read Tracked vs. Voluum. For cutover mechanics, use the Voluum-to-Tracked migration checklist. This page covers the step before either one: deciding which alternatives deserve a trial.
Why do media buyers look for a Voluum alternative?
Buyers rarely leave over a missing 50/50 split or S2S postback. Voluum's features page advertises weighted rotation, rule-based distribution, S2S postbacks, cost synchronization, and role-based access.
The real reasons tend to be narrower:
- Pages live somewhere else. Voluum's FAQ says: "Voluum doesn't develop nor hosts landing pages, you have to take care it on your own." Every headline change happens in a separate host or builder.
- The bill grows with events. Voluum's pricing page defines an event as "a visit, click, conversion, or impression." Prelander traffic adds a visit and a lander click before the offer.
- Automation is priced separately. Automizer is listed as an add-on, priced by tracked ad spend.
- Server ownership. Some teams want the tracker on their own infrastructure. Voluum is a managed cloud product.
Write down which of these applies. A switch that does not fix the named problem just adds migration risk.
What should you compare before switching?
Use the same six questions for every candidate.
| Question | Why it matters | What to ask the vendor or check in docs |
|---|---|---|
| Where do landing pages live? | Decides who publishes the next copy edit | Can you upload or edit page files, or do you register an external URL? |
| How is traffic routed? | Manual weights and automatic distribution are different jobs | Which conditions exist, and can you turn automation off? |
| How do postbacks return? | A broken click ID loses the conversion | Which parameter carries the click ID, and how are payout and status mapped? |
| Which ad platforms get conversion feedback? | Inbound postbacks are not outbound conversion API delivery | Which exact providers, events, and identifiers are supported? |
| What counts as a billable event? | Visits, clicks, conversions, and postbacks may each count | How does your funnel translate into the vendor's event definition? |
| Who runs the server? | Self-hosting moves uptime and backups to your team | Who owns capacity, upgrades, and recovery? |
The affiliate tracking software buying guide expands each row into a full requirements checklist.
Voluum alternatives compared
Figures come from first-party pages read October 22, 2026. They are published references, not quotes or completed purchases.
| Option | Landing pages | Hosting model | Published entry pricing (Oct 22, 2026) | Main thing to verify |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Voluum (baseline) | External URL; FAQ says it does not host pages | Managed cloud | Profit: $149 base monthly in the pricing page's embedded config; card shows $119/mo billed annually. 1M events, 3 domains, 6 months retention, $0.06 per 1,000 extra events (pricing) | Which discount or offer applies to your account |
| Tracked | Upload HTML/ZIP files and edit them visually, or proxy/redirect to external pages | Managed | Not quoted here; confirm account terms on pricing | Required provider feedback and invite-based access |
| RedTrack | External URL; LP setup asks you to paste the page URL (guide) | Managed cloud | Affiliate Solo: $169 billed monthly ($141 annual equivalent), 5M events, 1 user, 10 domains (pricing) | Exact conversion API and spend-sync connections |
| ClickFlare | External; docs say it "does not host or modify your landing pages" (landers) | Managed cloud | Starter: $89 billed monthly ($69 annual equivalent), 1M events, 3 domains, no additional users (pricing) | Event counting, which includes postbacks |
| Binom | Homepage advertises: "Store and edit your landings directly in the tracker" (binom.org) | Self-hosted v2 or Binom Cloud | v2 license: $149 in the monthly price block, $104 in the yearly block; Cloud card $299 with no stated cadence (price) | Server costs for v2; Cloud billing cadence |
| Keitaro | Pricing lists a "Landing page editor" on all three plans (pricing) | Self-hosted; docs say "A server (VPS or VDS) is required" (install) | Starter €40, Advanced €72, Expert €104 per month, shown under a "Yearly" toggle | Billing cadence, server cost, and editor scope |
| BeMob | Docs say pages "should be hosted externally from BeMob" (landings) | Managed cloud | Professional $49/month, 1M events, 1 month retention, 0 tracking domains; Business $249, 10M events, 3 domains (pricing) | Domain add-on cost on Professional |
"Not found in the page we read" is not the same as "not supported." Where a vendor's page did not state something, the table says what to verify instead of filling the gap.
Tracked: for buyers who want the page and the tracker together
Tracked is relevant when the friction with Voluum is the page handoff. Upload HTML or a ZIP of static assets, serve it on your campaign domain, and route visitors with conditional rules or weights you set. Pass the {{click.id}} macro into the offer's sub-ID field, receive the network postback, and review reports and the visitor's event journey. When the evidence points at a headline, open the same page in the visual editor and publish the revision.
The differentiator is that the report and the page edit sit in one workspace: a workflow claim, not a measured lift. Binom and Keitaro also advertise page editing, so compare the editors directly.
Know the limits before you shortlist it:
- Signup is early access and needs an invite code or approved access.
- Weights are set by you. Automatic winner selection is in development; see how weighted tests lead to auto-optimization.
- A primary-sale postback carries the click ID and payout. Typed secondary events record zero payout, so map event names deliberately.
- Outbound conversion feedback is provider-specific; details are in the status section below.
RedTrack: for buyers whose priority is ad-level feedback
RedTrack's affiliate pricing organizes plans around events, users, domains, and ad spend sync cadence. Solo syncs every 60 minutes; Team ($399 billed monthly, 20M events, 5 users) and Enterprise ($999, 75M events, 15 users) sync every 30 minutes. Its event definition is "clicks, conversions and postbacks processed per month."
Trial RedTrack when spend reconciliation and conversion feedback to ad platforms drive the decision. Ask for the exact connection your traffic source needs; a logo does not describe your event mapping. Use the affiliate cards, not the separate ecommerce lineup. The RedTrack alternatives guide covers the reverse move. If the shortlist is down to these two, Voluum vs. RedTrack compares plan prices, event counts, and CAPI access side by side.
ClickFlare: for a lower managed-cloud entry point
ClickFlare's Starter plan, at $89 billed monthly, includes three SSL domains but no additional users. Pro is $219 billed monthly for 5M events with two additional users. Pricing lists a 14-day free trial with no credit card required.
ClickFlare counts "visits, clicks, conversions, and postbacks," so a prelander funnel uses more events than its ad clicks suggest. Pages stay external, as with Voluum. If you are already weighing it, the ClickFlare alternatives guide shows how it compares from the other direction.
Binom and Keitaro: for teams that want to own the server
Consider these when infrastructure control is a hard requirement. Binom offers a self-hosted v2 license and a Cloud option whose FAQ says the server, monitoring, and optimization are included. Keitaro's installation docs require a VPS or VDS that you buy from a hosting provider; we found no vendor-managed edition in the pages we read. The Keitaro alternatives guide compares self-hosted and hosted options in more depth.
With self-hosting, the license is only part of the bill: add the server, backups, upgrades, and on-call time. Binom's pricing page lists daily capacity figures for v2 and Cloud while its FAQ says there are no traffic limitations; ask which applies to your plan. Its homepage says some traffic-source integrations exist in version one and are coming to version two, so confirm by version. See Tracked vs. Binom for the deployment-model tradeoff.
BeMob: for a low monthly entry price
BeMob's Professional plan is $49/month for 1M events, the lowest clearly monthly paid price in this table; Keitaro's €40 card has an unclear cadence. Its Professional plan includes zero tracking domains, though, and one month of data retention. Business, at $249, includes three domains and three months. The Free plan offers 100,000 events with no overage, so it suits testing rather than production volume.
A domain add-on or external hosting can change that order. Tracked vs. BeMob walks through that plan choice for a solo buyer. If BeMob's domain or retention limits rule it out, the BeMob alternatives guide compares the wider field.
Is there a cheaper Voluum alternative?
Several vendors publish lower entry prices than Voluum's Profit plan, but "cheaper" depends on what each one counts and what it leaves out. Compare the whole monthly cost:
- Events: Turn last month's visits, lander clicks, conversions, and postbacks into each vendor's event definition.
- Domains and seats: Some entry plans include no tracking domain or no additional users.
- Pages: Add the cost of hosting or a builder if the tracker does not serve pages.
- Servers: For self-hosted trackers, add the VPS and operating time.
- Add-ons and cadence: Automation and faster sync can cost extra. Never compare an annual-equivalent rate with a month-to-month price.
We make no savings claim for any option, including Tracked.
When does Voluum still fit?
Stay with Voluum when your external page stack works and its routing and automation already do what you need. If you rely on AI-powered traffic distribution or Automizer stop-loss and bid rules, check that a replacement has an equivalent before you move. Tracked does not have automatic distribution today.
Moving resets your history: new click IDs start in the new tracker. If the problem is a single broken callback, fix it first with the postback troubleshooting guide.
How to move off Voluum without losing conversions
Leaving Voluum safely is a staged process, whichever alternative you pick:
- Inventory one campaign. Record its traffic-source tokens, landers, offers, path weights, rules, and the network's postback.
- Rebuild, don't import. Recreate the route, the offer link with the new tracker's click ID macro, and the network postback in the new tool.
- Test with a fresh click. Confirm the click ID reaches the network and the conversion returns with the right payout.
- Move new traffic only. Point the traffic source at the new campaign URL.
- Keep Voluum's postback live. Conversions from Voluum-issued click IDs still need to land in Voluum until the network's conversion window closes.
- Avoid double feedback. Don't send one conversion to an ad platform from both trackers. Archive reports before canceling.
The Voluum-to-Tracked checklist turns these steps into a campaign-by-campaign runbook.
Where Tracked is today
Current Tracked source supports hosted HTML/ZIP pages, proxy and redirect destinations, visual editing, conditional rules, user-configured weights, click ID macros, inbound postbacks, reports, and event journeys. Signup requires an invite or approved access.
Universal CAPI, automatic winner selection, and cross-device attribution are in development. Outbound conversion feedback varies by provider. Google Ads click-conversion uploads and configured Taboola and NewsBreak postbacks exist in current code. Meta delivery is partial; read the Meta conversions API limits before relying on it. There is no Voluum importer, and historical Voluum attribution does not transfer.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best Voluum alternative?
There is no universal winner in a documentation review. Match the option to your reason for leaving: page work (Tracked, Binom), ad feedback (RedTrack, ClickFlare), server ownership (Binom, Keitaro), or entry price (BeMob, ClickFlare). Then trial two candidates against one real campaign.
Which Voluum alternative hosts landing pages?
Of the options here, Tracked serves uploaded HTML/ZIP pages, Binom advertises landing storage and editing in the tracker, and Keitaro lists a landing page editor. RedTrack, ClickFlare, BeMob, and Voluum document an external-URL workflow. Compare the actual editor and publishing step, not a checkbox.
Can I import Voluum campaigns into another tracker?
Do not plan on it. Voluum's export/import guide documents CSV handling of up to 250 entities, such as landers and offers, but this review did not establish a direct import path into any alternative listed here. Rebuild routes, offers, and postbacks, and keep Voluum running for conversions on its own click IDs.
Is wetracked.io the same as Tracked?
No. Tracked at tracked.it is a separate company and product from wetracked.io. Check the domain before comparing features or pricing.
Will switching trackers improve my conversion rate?
Nothing in this guide supports that claim. A new tracker can change your workflow, costs, and supported integrations. It does not by itself change how visitors respond to your page or offer.
