Everflow tracking
Everflow affiliate postback tracking in Tracked
A practical Everflow setup for affiliates who want Tracked to match partner conversions and payout to the campaign click that sent them.
To attribute an Everflow conversion in Tracked, pass Tracked’s {{click.id}} macro into Everflow as sub1, then return it in an Everflow Partner Postback as click_id. That ID is the join between the campaign click and the conversion payout.
You’ll need an Everflow tracking link for your offer and a Tracked campaign with an offer set up. Add Tracked’s {{click.id}} macro to the Everflow link, then configure Everflow to send {sub1} back to Tracked when it reports a conversion.

Pass Tracked’s click ID in the Everflow tracking link
Set your Everflow tracking link as the destination URL for the offer in Tracked. Add sub1={{click.id}} to that link:
https://YOUR_EVERFLOW_TRACKING_LINK?sub1={{click.id}}
If the link already has a query string, add &sub1={{click.id}} instead. When a visitor clicks the Tracked offer, {{click.id}} resolves in the offer redirect. Everflow stores the value passed in sub1, which it can return later as {sub1} in a Partner Postback. Everflow documents sub1 as a common place for a partner’s click ID and lists {sub1} as available in Partner Postbacks. Everflow’s parameters and macros guide covers both sides of that handoff.
Use a fresh test click and inspect the final Everflow tracking URL. It should contain a real Tracked click ID, not the literal {{click.id}} text or a blank sub1.
Send the Everflow Partner Postback to Tracked
For this direction of data flow, use a Partner Postback. Everflow defines an Advertiser Postback as conversion data sent from an advertiser to Everflow; a Partner Postback sends attributed conversion data from Everflow to partners. Tracked is the receiving tracker in this setup, so the callback belongs in the Partner Postback flow. Everflow’s postback guide explains the distinction.
In the Everflow partner portal, open Company Settings → Postbacks and add a global postback or one for the relevant event. That partner-facing screen is different from Partners → Postbacks in the network admin dashboard. Everflow’s partner portal guide documents the self-service setting; its postback guide documents the network-admin path. If your network manages postbacks for you, give its team the callback URL below and ask them to configure it as a Partner Postback.
Check that the network enabled Fire Partner Postback for the intended offer event. An active callback template cannot send an event whose offer settings suppress partner delivery. Everflow also describes Partner Postbacks as one-shot notifications: later payout edits do not automatically fire that same conversion again. Reconcile changes separately rather than assuming your tracker received an update.
Use your Tracked dispatcher host in this example:
https://YOUR_TRACKED_DISPATCHER_HOST/postback?click_id={sub1}&payout={payout_amount}
Everflow’s {sub1} returns the Tracked ID saved on the click. {payout_amount} is the amount paid to the partner, in the offer’s currency. Do not use {transaction_id} for click_id: Everflow defines that macro as its own transaction ID. Everflow’s macro reference lists each value and where it can be used.
Tracked’s generic endpoint accepts click_id and optional payout, currency, and timestamp. Send the offer currency explicitly when it is available: append ¤cy={offer_currency} and verify the expanded value. Everflow documents {offer_currency} in its parameters and macros guide. Do not assume a callback without currency will identify a non-USD amount correctly.
Once the ID round-trip is in place, you can check the conversion and payout against the campaign and offer click that generated it. Start free and map your Everflow offer in Tracked.
Test the click and conversion before sending traffic
- Open a fresh Tracked campaign URL and click through to the Everflow offer. Inspect the final URL and confirm
sub1contains the new Tracked click ID. - Confirm the Partner Postback is active and points to the Tracked dispatcher host. Start with the untyped callback above for a primary sale.
- Ask the network to send a real test conversion or an approved test conversion for that offer. Then check that the callback reaches Tracked, resolves to the same campaign click, and records the expected payout and currency.
A successful HTTP response only confirms delivery. The useful end-to-end check is that Tracked attributes the callback to the test click and the payout matches Everflow’s partner earnings.
Where Tracked is today
Tracked supports a generic GET /postback endpoint. It requires click_id; payout, currency, and timestamp are optional. An untyped callback records a primary conversion with its payout. If you add type or conversion_type, Tracked records a secondary event with zero payout, so leave both out of the primary-sale URL.
This recipe uses Tracked’s generic callback; a native Everflow account connector has not been verified. It records the conversion details sent in the callback. It does not configure approval or rejection status synchronization or reversal handling. Confirm the event Everflow sends before relying on the numbers in either system.
Frequently asked questions
Should I use an Advertiser Postback or a Partner Postback?
Use a Partner Postback to send Everflow’s attributed conversion from the network to Tracked. An Advertiser Postback sends conversion data into Everflow from the advertiser’s site, app, or CRM.
Is {transaction_id} the Tracked click ID?
No. It is an Everflow-generated transaction ID. Pass Tracked’s {{click.id}} into Everflow as sub1, then return Everflow’s {sub1} as Tracked’s click_id.
Does this setup sync approval changes or reversals?
No. It records the conversion and payout sent in the callback. Approval-state updates and reversals are not configured by this generic postback.
Does a test callback prove the conversion was attributed?
Not by itself. Use a fresh Tracked click and a real or approved test conversion, then confirm the callback resolves to that click and the payout matches the Everflow record.
